Since 2005, I have been laying out and designing for print including a stint in art directing America magazine and the Red Hook Star Revue. I have also done complete layout, design, art direction and production of books for a variety of audiences: religious, children’s and alternative.

Art Direction and Case Studies

Description

From 2009 to 2017, I was the Art Director for America magazine, responsible for all visual aspects of the Catholic Journal of Opinion, as well as graphic design and production of the magazine.

Later, at the American Thoracic Society, I was able to use the skills I gained at America to help find a design solution for a near term deadline for our virtual conference.
